Ellie and Dave - Engaged! |

A s I said yesterday, Ellie has left the building. She and her fiance are on their way back to Georgia ( probably only a few hours away from being home). But, before they left, I just HAD to do an engagement session for them. They are getting married on January 24 in Atlanta, which was a big bummer for me since "Lil P" will hopefully make his/her first appearance about a week before then. So, I will not be doing their wedding, but I know that she has great taste and has found the perfect photographers for them! But, I am still allowed to be bummed... especially after how much fun I had with them on Tuesday morning- even though it was about 6am! I have had the worst time narrowing down these images; they were just all smiles and gushiness all morning long! With that said... Happy viewing!
Yes, Chris, they are headless, but check out her bling!! b-e-a-utiful!! (Chris seems to think cutting off a subject's head is about like cutting off just their feet- which was something I critiqued him on in his first year shooting with me... NOT the same! right?)
So sweet!
I really love this one... especially because Dave was whispering some sweet nothings in her ear.
A little silhouette. It was a little overcast, so even though I tried with all my might for Ellie, there was no flare to be had.
Another one for Chris. haha! I love it! I know Ellie will too because (a) she likes headless shots, (b) she loves her cowboy boots, (c) she loves that yellow chair of mine, and (d) she loves Dave and he's in there, too. ;-)
I think this is my favorite of the day. I sure do love it!
Okay, I got a little flare with the chair and the couple... over the there. (i make myself laugh when I rhyme... sorry). :-)
Alright... so, Dave admitted to it. He loves frolicking... especially with Ellie, so without any cues from me, they did this. And, I love ALL of these shots!! It is a miracle they are sharp and in focus because I was seriously laughing at Dave in these.
And everyone says... "awh!"
Love this one, too... a lot!
Ellie wanted to be sure to grab a few behind my studio as well. This is my favorite one from back there!
Just as we were heading out, I noticed this spot that I had never looked at before. I like it!
Alright, well, Baby Sophie's pics are almost eternally rescheduled due to rain. We are trying again for next Monday since it is supposed to rain tonight. :-( Everyone cross your fingers! I have some very special visitors this weekend, also- mom and grandma, and then, an engagement shoot whenever the weather cooperates with Alex & Debbie. But, no more blogging until Monday... just a little break. |

Bridget and Chris - Engagement Session |

O n Friday morning, Ellie and I headed over to the Plattsburgh area for Jatha & Andy's wedding at Valcour Conference Center. This was such a great wedding! And not just because everything ran so smoothly... it was because there were constant smiles on EVERYONE'S faces all day long. The day was just full of joy! Of course, that made our jobs easier. Congrats you guys, and happy viewing!
Â
i love this one!
Also love that you can see all three bridesmaids in this one.
I couldn't decide on my favorite of the beautiful bride Jatha... this one...
or this one?
i really liked the simplicity of the flowers... very garden-esque.
Andy was so excited to be getting married to Jatha!
Ellie grabbed this shot of Jatha just before she walked down the aisle.
LOVE this! Andy's face just as Jatha got down to the bottom of the aisle... in place to get hitched!
the group shot.
Jatha & Andy allowed plenty of time for us to walk all over the property and across the road to get a wide variety of shots.
love this!
I mean, they couldn't stop grinning!
well, maybe for a minute... so sweet!
Jatha really wanted some shots in the tall grass. it wasn't quite tall enough to stand in, but I still love it!
the rings!
You know, we really appreciate it when people allow us to eat at a table... but, Jatha took it to a new level with the place card! Â (We also got fed right after the wedding party- so we were ready to start working as soon as they were ready to get the party started)
the first dance... so many sweet shots from this, but this was my favorite.
Love this one of Andy and his mom!
I grabbed this shot super quickly. Â I just couldn't help it! Â Cute baby (belonged to a bridesmaid)
This sweet couple is celebrating their first anniversary soon. Â Jatha & Andy wanted me to grab a few shots of them as an anniversary present.
Congrats again! I did an engagment session on Saturday, and I am doing another special one tonight! So, stay tuned for more blogging this week. August will be a little nutty... we have a lot going on- both personally (with visitors) and in the business. |
